Art World, my Kung Fu family, and my Sifu.”
“I believe my Kung Fu training has given a feeling of
being part of something complete. I believe this is everything I
will ever need to become complete as a Martial Artist. No matter
what level I believe I can achieve there will always be something
more to increase the knowledge. Everyday, no matter how much or how
little I train I always learn something new or have a better understanding
of what was previously learned.”
Over Ten years Sifu Joseph Demundo has operated as Chief Branch
Instructor of Yee’s Hung-Ga Kung-Fu Academy’s Headquarter
Branch, in New York City’s Chinatown. He continues to teach
the tradition of Hung-Ga to the next generation of Martial Artist.
He continues participating in Tournaments but in the capacity of
promoting and coaching students. “I'm proud to see
the Gold and other medals come home from hard working students”.
“I enjoy the benefits of teaching.”
“One of the benefits of teaching is that it reinforces
what you know, maintains what you have learned and refines your
overall knowledge.”
“Another is working with and teaching honest and hard working
students. It gives me great pleasure to watch them grow and to
experience their ability to bring alive what is learned.”
Sifu Joseph Demundo prefers specializing in open hand fighting,
street self-defense, Pole fighting technique, and the development
and training the internal power. He also believes in dedication
and promoting Kung-Fu into the next generation, and to help keep
